Help us end the trade in Asian elephant skin
Dear Supporter,
our continuing investigations have revealed an escalation in the number of wild Asian elephants being killed for their skin. This sickening trend that targets adults and calves alike, is becoming a serious threat to the survival of Asia’s already endangered wild elephant populations.
Our new report Skinned: The growing appetite for Asia’s elephants ( elephant-family.org/what-we-do… ) makes for difficult reading. We were devastated with the findings that our undercover investigators unearthed; the images are heart-breaking, the traders heartless – but we know that this groundbreaking report is a powerful weapon in exposing this abhorrent crime and to finding a solution.
