In just weeks …

… the 2018 Winter Olympics will begin in South Korea. This is the time for the country to finally shut down the horrifically cruel dog and cat meat trade.

S. Korea is the only nation in the world with large, commercial dog meat farms. The dogs are crammed into filthy wire cages and may be hung, electrocuted and boiled alive for their meat. But S. Korea has an opportunity to show the world they are an evolved and compassionate society by ending this cruel trade right now.

Sign: Ban Dog and Cat Meat Before the Winter Olympics in S. Korea

● Send a letter to the Korean Ambassador respectfully urging him to push for a ban:

Ambassador of the Republic of Korea Cho Yoon-je

Washington, D.C. 20008
Email: consular_usa@mofa.go.kr

Sample letter:

Dear Ambassador Cho,

While I greatly respect the people and culture of S. Korea, I am sickened by the treatment of dogs and cats tortured and killed for meat in your country. I implore you to work to outlaw dog and cat farms, end the sale and consumption of their meat, and strengthen existing laws to better protect all animals. Most S. Korean citizens are against dog meat. And with the Olympics upon us, I urge you to take this opportunity to show the world you are a great and compassionate nation by banning dog and cat meat for good.

Sincerely,
Your Name
