Animal Welfare Board advises Centre not to allow jallikattu, claims PETA

Taking note of the statement, the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) India expressed its concern over the issue.

The Animal Welfare Board of India (ABWI) has advised the environment ministry not to overturn the Supreme Court’s judgement which presently bans the bull taming sport ‘jallikattu’ in Tamil Nadu, animal rights group PETA India claimed.
