CECIL THE LION: Killer dentist caught illegally slaughtering black bear

THE dentist who killed Cecil the Lion has been accused of bribing hunting guides to cover his illegal slaughter of a black bear.
Walter Palmer, who has become one of the most hated men in the world after killing the rare black-maned lion ( www.dailystar.co.uk/news/lates… ), was caught hunting a black bear without a permit.
After posing next to his grisly trophy, the veteran bowman allegedly offered his guides about £13,000 to keep quiet and make false statements to prosecutors.
But the guides refused and in 2008 Palmer pleaded guilty to making false statements about the black bear …
