Protesters against plans for Gnosall rabbit farm gather in Victoria Park in Stafford

Protesters have today gathered in a town to oppose controversial plans for a rabbit farm.
People from across the country met in Victoria Park in Stafford to object to the plans to build the farm, which would provide rabbit meat, just off Radmore Lane in Gnosall.
The crowd waved banners and placards in the latest development in the long-running argument about the planned facility. …

Switzerland to Become 35th Country to Ban Seal-Derived Products

From 1 April 2017, it’ll be illegal to import seal-derived products – including fur, meat, and blubber – into Switzerland. This is a great victory for animals, as tens of thousands of seals are killed every year in Canada’s commercial seal slaughter.
