Fans of ‘Whale Wars’ will meet new captains, while Paul Watson faces legal woes.

McLEAN, VA. — Paul Watson has been called an eco-terrorist, an outlaw, a fugitive and a pirate.

“I always say, ‘I’m not a pirate, I just play one on TV'”, he says with a grin.

The Whale Wars star and 35-year leader of the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society ( www.seashepherd.org/ ) is known for heading into the dangerous seas off Antarctica with daring tactics to stop Japanese hunters from killing the majestic marine mammals.
