URGENT: We must put the brakes on the world’s largest chemical-testing programme

Dear Martina,

Hundreds of thousands of rabbits, mice, rats, guinea pigs and other animals have suffered greatly in batteries of tests under the largest chemical-testing programme in the world, and millions more animals are still at risk.

It’s cruelty on an almost incomprehensible scale. Millions of animals will suffer terribly in tests conducted under the EU’s Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) regulation, despite the existence of reliable non-animal testing methods that would keep them from being used at all.

The sensitive rabbits, mice, rats, guinea pigs and other animals condemned to these cruel tests need our help, and with your support today, we can do more for them …
