A $5000 reward has been offered in hope of catching those responsible for shooting two kangaroos at Toorbul during the past week.

One died after being hit by two arrows, while the other survived.

CQUniversity senior lecturer in psychology Dr Tania Signal said the whole community needed to take a stand.

My first job after veterinary school in 1983 was for the International Whaling Commission ( iwc.int/home ) examining the efficacy of explosive harpoons for killing fin whales on an Icelandic whaling vessel.
